New Light Famous Bliss Ball Recipe

As promised to subscribers of my newsletter, I will be adding my favourite recipes as well as random facts, jokes and just some fun stuff to keep you degens entertained.

Dark choc and coconut bliss balls

½ cup cashew dry roasted

½ cup almonds raw

½ cup walnuts or macadamias (any nuts really)

1 cup desiccated coconut

1 cup pitted dates or any dried fruit you would prefer

2 tbs raw cacao powder (add more for extra choc hit)

2 tbs rice malt syrup

1tbs coconut oil

1 tsp nutmeg or cinnamon

  1. Mix dry ingredients in a food processor until well blended and there are no large chunks.

  2. Remove and place in a large mixing bowl.

  3. Blend dates or dried fruit in food processor until well chopped.

  4. Combine all ingredients in mixing bowl until mixture sticks together. Roll mixture into bite size balls and then put in fridge to set.

You can add protein powder to the mix for an extra protein hit, just adjust with a bit of extra coconut oil or rice malt syrup as needed to maintain wet mixture. You can also roll each ball in desiccated coconut or cocoa before setting. These will last about 1 week in the fridge or 3 months in the freezer.
